Top Ten Books on my Spring TBR List

This isn’t based on spring or 2015 releases, but it is a list of books I really want to get to within the next few months.

The Death House – Sarah Pinborough // A Court of Thorns and Roses – Sarah J Maas // The Doll’s House by M J Arlidge // Rebecca – Daphne Du Maurier // All The Bright Places – Jennifer Niven

I Capture the Castle – Dodie Smith // Heir of Fire – Sarah J Maas // Final Empire – Brandon Sanderson // Stolen – Lucy Christopher // Half a King – Joe Abercrombie

Have you read any of these? Are there any that you think I need to read immediately?

Thanks for stopping by, Happy Reading!

Tackling my TBR!

So, after reorganising my bookshelves this weekend it has become pretty clear that I NEED to tackle my TBR mountain.

I have decided to sign up for the Mount TBR 2014 Challenge on Goodreads.

I am planning to tackle the Pike’s Peak level, reading 12 books from my TBR this year. This means strictly books that I own, prior to January 1st 2014. No ARC’s or library books can be counted towards this challenge.

I have typed all of my books (physical and digital, purchased before 1.1.2014) into an Excel spreadsheet – I know, uber organisation here people! All of these are numbered – I will use a number generator to decide on a physical and eBook for each month.

So, without further ado, the books for the month of March are:

36. Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger

11. Whisper by Micheal Bray

I will aim to read both of these books for the month of March, let’s see how I get on!

Any one want to join me in tackling their own TBR mountain?

2014 TBR Pile – Reading Challenge

I have decided to join up and take part in the 2014 TBR Pile – Reading challenge being held over at Bookish.

It is a year long challenge that aims to help you reduce your TBR pile. There are many different levels to choose from. I am going for a friendly hug, which is 11-20 books, because I need to be realistic with work commitments. You can also go up levels, but you can’t come down.

I will be doing a monthly wrap up specifically for this challenge, to keep myself on track. I will give details of books read and link to any reviews posted on my blog. I know I will definitely be reading the Chronicles of Narnia as part of this challenge.

Are you doing any reading challenges?
