Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is a meme held over at Tyngna’s Reviews. It is all about sharing the books on your shelves, physical or virtual. A great way to share books that you have purchased online, in bookstores, borrowed from the library, received for review or purchased as e-books.

ShowcaseSunday

I will also be linking this up to Showcase Sunday over at Books, Biscuits and Tea.

Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week.

I haven’t done much reading this week, which I am disappointed about – work has been super busy with GCSE’s coming up, parents evenings, focus week, observations and a KS3 production. Need to get back into it, currently reading ‘The Coldest Girl in Coldtown’ by Holly Black.

Have you read any of these? Do any interest you? Are there any that I should bump up to the top of my list of to-be-read?

Happy Reading!

  1. I have The Fearless, doesn’t it sound brilliant?!

  2. Nice haul. I love the look of The Shining Girls, I’ve seen some really great reviews for that one. I hope you enjoy all your books 🙂 My STS.

  3. It didn’t really turn out a reading week for me either. :/ But this week looks like it’ll be slow, which I’m kind of excited about. More reading time! I’m sooo behind on my TBR right now. >.< I just reserved The Coldest Girl Downtown from the library. 😉 I'd like to read Goddess, too! My StS!

    • I hate it when work gets in the way of reading! I won’t get chance to really catch up until the Easter break, in about 3 weeks time. I just want to buy all the books!
Coldest Girl is good, little slow to start with – think I am just getting to the main action now 🙂 Enjoy!

  4. You’ll love I’ve Got Your Number. It’s such a great book! 🙂 x

  5. I liked The Coldest Girl in Coldtown. The Fearless looks the most intriguing of your new books to me. I should check out NetGalley to see if I can add that one to my stack. Come see my hauls at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!

  6. Goddess and The Fearless look interesting, definitely off to Netgalley to check those out. Also i read the Sophie Kinsella book when i was younger and thoroughly enjoy it so i hope you do too! The Assassin’s Curse is also grabbing my attention! Great haul and happy reading 🙂

I’ve heard really great things about The Assassin’s Curse, so I hope you enjoy it! Super excited for The Fearless too 🙂
    Great haul! Happy reading 😀

  8. That’s the second mention of The Shining Girls I’m seeing on SS this week – I need to get my hands on a copy! And The Bookstore looks right up my alley too, it’s going on my TBR list. Hope you enjoy all your new reads 🙂

    • I’m excited to read all of them! I have wanted The Shining Girls for a while, so just took the plunge and purchased it. Since then heard nothing but good things about it! 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by!

  9. The Shining Girls is such a great book you should definitely read it asap! I read The Assassin’s Curse last year and I definitely want to pick it up again along with the rest of the series. Great haul, Enjoy 🙂

    • Fantastic! I am going to bump it up on my TBR list then 🙂 I really want to read The Assassin’s Curse next. I’m currently reading The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, but I am not really enjoying it that much to be honest. Maybe I am just not in the mood for it…I don’t know?

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Reading 🙂

  10. Great haul 🙂
